“Spring Fling” is our annual reunion ski weekend open to any former Big Sky Kids camper and their immediate family members. “Spring Fling” typically takes place in either late March or early April, and offers a fun get-away for the entire family! Activities include downhill skiing or snowboarding at Big Sky Resort, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing at Lone Mountain Ranch, and a pool party at our Eagle Mount Aquatics Center. The weekend allows our campers the opportunity to ski, relax, and spend time with friends met at previous camps. The only cost for families is transportation to and from the weekend’s activities in Bozeman and Big Sky; all other expenses including hotel accommodations, meals, ski rentals, lift tickets, etc. are generously donated by members of our wonderful community.
If you would like to be a participant or a volunteer at Spring Fling this year, please email our BSK Director, Kara Erickson, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call our Eagle Mount office!
Our Big Sky Kids program is designed for children and young adults with cancer. Begun in 1985, Big Sky Kids provides four different summer camps for children with cancer ages 5-23 each year, as well as a family ski weekend every spring. Our oncology camps are centered around exciting Montana adventures such as white-water rafting, horseback riding, kayaking, fishing, zip-lining, and touring the wonders of Yellowstone National Park. Each Big Sky Kids camp is medically supervised, allowing both children and young adults the opportunity to escape the confines of treatment schedules and hospital walls and experience all the thrills that our state has to offer!
If you would like to be a camper, counselor, or volunteer for any of the Big Sky Kids camps, please email our BSK Director, Kara Erickson, at email@example.com, or call our Eagle Mount office!
