Adaptive Horsemanship Barn Manager
The Adaptive Horsemanship Barn Manager primarily supports program activities through stable management, facility care and horse health, maintenance, and supports lesson activities. The position is full-time, year-round and is supervised by the Adaptive Horsemanship Director.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in horsemanship and barn work; strong horsemanship background.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to be insurable per Eagle Mount’s parameters.
- Ability to work outdoors, for prolonged periods of time, in a variety of conditions.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Strong interpersonal, management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work independently and as a member as a team. Willingness to use Microsoft Office or database programs as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with individuals of all ages, with a variety of disabilities.
- Basic CPR/first-aid certification (can be provided upon hire if necessary).
- Knowledge of current standards, techniques, and best practices in adaptive horsemanship.
- PATH International Member or PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor
- Experience and working knowledge of all aspects of a therapeutic/adaptive riding center
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time, non-exempt position, $21-23/hr DOE.
