Eagle Mount’s Eagle Swim Programs offer children, young adults and adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to learn to swim and exercise in the warm, healing salt water pool. We offer group classes for toddlers, teenagers and young adults for all skill levels. Kids work on water safety, swimming and stroke skills, and having fun! Our dedicated volunteers make it possible for each child to be paired with a caring volunteer, and classes are led by a qualified staff member. The kids and young adults love the freedom and fun that they have in the water, while making lasting friendships with their classmates and volunteers.
All Abilities Swim Lessons is a new aquatics program that is open to both Eagle Mount participants and members of the community ages 4+. Classes focus on a wide range of skills from exploration to stroke development and refinement. Our smaller class sizes of 3-5 swimmers allow swimmers to get more individualized attention. The All-Abilities program is not a volunteer supported program, so swimmers will need to be able to work in a group setting and follow directions without constant supervision
We will also be providing a Parent/Tot class for ages 6 months to 3 years. This class is a guided water experience using songs and games to build confidence, develop motor skills and teach personal water safety with a parent/guardian. Water diapers are required.
