About Our Campus and Program Locations

Tim and Mary Barnard Aquatics Center

Eagle Mount’s Aquatics Program offers year round adaptive swim and exercise opportunities to individuals with a wide range of disabilities, age-related ailments, and cancer. With the help of volunteers, our participants are able to enjoy the benefits unique to our warm salt water pool. The 92,100 gallon pool is kept at a comfortable 89 degrees. The benefits of our aquatics program include learning to swim, regaining strength and balance, staying active, and reaching personal fitness goals all while being a part of a supportive, engaging community.

The aquatics program was one of the first programs started by Eagle Mount in the early 80’s, along with skiing and equine. Because of its continued growth and need, the Tim and Mary Barnard Aquatic Center opened in 2008. Our facility houses a 5 lane, 25 yard therapy pool with stairs, a lift, and ramp with pool wheelchairs.

Cyndi Fonda Riding Center

Located on 10 acres, Adaptive Horsemanship is a year-round program. The Cyndi Fonda Therapeutic Riding Center is a PATH International Premier Accredited facility. It features a large outdoor riding arena, a heated indoor arena (Murdoch’s Riding Arena) and tack up area. Amenities include a large viewing room, mounting ramp with an electronic lift to assist people who need full assistance to mount their horses and a fenced in trail system which is used seven months of the year. The hay barn stores 80 tons of hay. The four paddocks have gravity fed waterers as do the seven interior stalls.

Gardens & Greenhouse

The beautiful grounds at Eagle Mount provide an ideal setting for our Horticulture Program. With our fully “deer proof” fence and accessible Program Garden, we have gardening spaces with raised beds at varying heights, and a large garden area for a variety of seasonal plantings that change every year. There is also an established herb and perennial plant area perfect for cut flowers or garden crafts.

With the addition of our large greenhouse in 2017, we have the opportunity for earlier seeding, planting, and continued vegetable and flower growing into the fall. The greenhouse provides an excellent space to grow warmer season vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, and watermelon.

Adaptive Playground

Our playground is unlike any other, designed with the belief that recreation should know no boundaries. No matter the age, ability, or background, we have crafted a space that ensures everyone can join in on the joy of play. Here, children and adults alike discover a world of boundless possibilities where imagination takes flight, and friendships are formed without limitations.

Built to accommodate individuals with diverse abilities, our ‘All Bodies’ Adaptive Playground features innovative equipment that caters to a wide range of needs. From inclusive swings and sensory play stations to interactive games and wheelchair-accessible pathways, every element has been thoughtfully selected to foster an environment of pure enjoyment and empowerment.

Safety is paramount, and we’ve taken every measure to ensure our playground is a secure space for all. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to maintain the equipment, providing a worry-free experience for parents, guardians, and caregivers.

Mary Peterson Community Room

Named after one of our past executive directors, The Mary Peterson Community Room at Eagle Mount provides a great place to host meetings, trainings, seminars, and conferences but above all it is a great place to entertain! It has a large flat screen smart TV, rolling accessible tables, and chairs for over 75 people. Our adaptive kitchen is connected to the community room allowing staff and programs to be able to cook and enjoy meals together.

Big Sky Resort

Situated midway between Bozeman and West Yellowstone, Big Sky is home to the BIGGEST SKIING IN AMERICA. Breathtaking views of the Spanish Peaks, Madison River, and surrounding rugged terrain can be enjoyed from all over the mountain. If you are traveling from out of town and hoping to set up a ski lesson, the Big Sky Eagle Mount program supports adaptive skiers with a focus on individualized and engaging lessons.

Bridger Bowl

With 2000 acres of skiable terrain and and a vertical rise of 2700 feet, Bridger Bowl is an ideal playground for our participants! Each year since 1983 we have partnered with Bridger Bowl to offer ski lessons to our participants. We utilize both an 8-week program for our locals and a destination program for our riders looking for a smaller commitment. Bridger Bowl receives an annual average snowfall of 300 inches per year, and has 75 official trails. Although we use the entire mountain for our lessons, Alpine, Sunnyside, Snowflake, and the surface lifts make for fantastic terrain for our participants to learn to slide on the snow!

Crosscut Mountain Sports Center

Crosscut Mountain Sports Center is a community non-profit dedicated to conserving the 500+ acres adjacent to Bridger Bowl Ski Area as a year-round recreation, sports training and educational facility for all ages and abilities. 17 miles north of Bozeman, Montana, at the base of the Bridger Mountains, the 259-acre Crosscut Ranch and 276-acre property formerly known as Bohart Ranch – situated alongside the Bridger Bowl Ski Area – first started operating as Nordic ski venues in the 1970s and have helped define the local community as a mountain ski town. Eagle Mount’s cross country ski and snowshoe program utilizes the incredible terrain for our winter programming. We are lucky to have such beautiful and expansive terrain to enjoy with our community!

Yellowstone Club

With 2,900 acres and more than 300 inches of annual snowfall, the Yellowstone Club slopes become a wintery playground of the highest caliber. These premium ski slopes feature terrain suitable for everyone including mellow slopes for beginners as well as chutes, gullies, and trees for more advanced skiers. If you would like to set up a ski lesson, the Eagle Mount Team will work with participants of all skill levels on an individual basis in order to promote the best possible experience for all adaptive skiers.
