Adaptive Recreation Summer Assistant

Come adventure with us! Eagle Mount is seeking kind, enthusiastic people to join our Recreation Staff in support of Adventure Days day camps.

Position Overview:

Eagle Mount Bozeman is a non-profit that provides adaptive recreation for people with disabilities and young people with cancer. The Summer Recreation Assistant supports the preparation and delivery of seasonal adaptive recreation programs and summer camps for Eagle Mount participants and volunteers. Activities include flat water boating, rafting, swimming, hiking, zip lining, arts, overnight camping, and more. The position is supervised by the Associate Director for Adaptive Recreation and serves as a member of the Program Team.

Schedule

These are seasonal positions (starting on May 28 and ending by Sept 9; can end sooner if needed) that may be full or part time. Most worked hours will fall during a regular work week (M-F, 8-5) with some evening and weekend work required. There will be no program or scheduled work hours the week of June 30 to July 4. Some preplanned absences or leaving before Sept 9 may be accommodated and should be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation

This is a seasonal, non-exempt position, $18-$20/hr DOE
