Program Offerings

Summer Session

In the summer, we’re outside tending to veggies, herbs, and flowers in the Program Garden and Greenhouse. Participants sow seeds, water plants, pull weeds, harvest produce, and make fun crafts with things we harvest from the garden. With two commitment levels, there’s an option for everyone: Cultivators get to plant their own individual raised beds, while Gardeners work together to care for the communal garden.

Fall Session

Fall is harvest season! We get to enjoy the fruits of our labor by harvesting and processing all the veggies, herbs, and flowers we grew all summer. Then, we care for the garden as it winds down for the winter ahead.

Winter Session

During our snowy winters, we move indoors to care for and propagate a variety of succulents and houseplants in the Greenhouse. Every other week, participants host a stand at the Winter Farmers’ Market to offer our succulents in return for donations to the program.

Spring Session

In the spring, participants gear up for the growing season ahead by starting seedlings indoors in the Greenhouse, and planting cool-season veggies like lettuce and carrots.

Family Cooking Nights

As part of our Family Engagement programming, our Family Cooking Night series in the fall provides occasions for participants and their families to engage in a fun cooking activity together, using produce harvested from the Program Garden.

Eagle Mount Bozeman invites annual partnerships and sponsorships from businesses and individuals deeply invested in community, who believe that people with disabilities or cancer deserve to experience all that Montana has to offer, and who want to help them “mount up with wings as eagles.“
