Eagle Mount’s summer camp, Adventure Days, is all about having fun with friends and enjoying the benefits of outdoor recreation. Each day we travel to a different location to explore and make memories together. We gather at Eagle Mount Campus at 9:00am and return by 3:30pm. The program culminates in an overnight trip for each age group.
Adventures include: group games, exploring Lewis & Clark Caverns, canoeing and kayaking, hiking, ziplining, rafting, soaking in the hot springs, and more!
For our school-aged groups, Adventure Days will be a day camp style program with 4 consecutive days of various adventures. Each age group will have two sessions available to them throughout the summer. We will have an early season general camp and a later season water camp.
The Gallatin Galavanters (age 18+) will have a weekly Adventure Day all summer long. Galavanters can choose a Monday or Friday schedule.
All groups will have the option to sign up for an overnight campout at the end of the summer!

Learning how to handle and care for a horse promotes confidence, patience, self-esteem, and improves social skills. Horseback riding (mounted lessons) help improve flexibility, balance, and muscle tone. Unmounted lessons focus on establishing a working relationship with their therapy horse and to learn life skills that often result in employment opportunities in veterinary clinics and stables. Eagle Mount Adaptive Riding Center is a Premier Accredited Center and our instructors are registered and certified through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH).
Space is limited and sessions, lessons, and day camps will be filled on a rotating basis to ensure that as many riders can join us as possible. Participant assessments will be used to determine what type of lesson would be most beneficial and appropriate for each participant.
Most volunteers serve as sidewalkers or horse leaders. No previous experience is needed. Volunteers are also needed for non-class activities such as tack cleaning, barn help, and special events.
For questions regarding participating or volunteering, please email horsemanship@eaglemount.org
